Chairman of the North-East Region Football Association, Brima Jalloh, on behalf of NERFA and the Organising Committee of the regional Supe-10, has on Tuesday, 21 September 2022 at the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) Secretariat on Battery Street, Kingtom, Freetown, presented awards to the President of SLFA, Thomas Daddy Brima, Vice President 1, Harold Nat-Johnson, Vice President 2, Alie Badara Tarawallie and the General Secretary, Christopher Kamara.
According to the chairman of NERFA, the awards are in recognition of their outstanding supports towards football development in Sierra Leone since they took over office.
In his presentation, Chairman Brima Jalloh stated that, “These badges of honorary orders (plaques) are awards from the NERFA given to you in recognition of your relentless effort in supports made towards football development in Sierra Leone.”
“However, these plaques as a symbol of appreciation from the North-East Region Football Association would’ve been given to you during our regional Super-10 ground finals in Makeni, but didn’t go through as a result of the heavy downpour of rain that disrupted the award and certification ceremony,” he said.
The SLFA President thanked the NERFA for their kind gesture in recognizing what him and his administration is doing for the good of the game. President Daddy Brima, however, reaffirmed his commitment towards football development in Sierra Leone under his watch.
The Vice President 1 and 2 reiterated SLFA’s commitment in providing a level Plainfield for football development at every region in Sierra Leone.
