The Leone Rock Metal Group(LRMG) has officially signed a sponsorship agreement worth $150,000 with the Sierra Leone Premier League Board. The partnership, celebrated at the Radisson Blu Conference Hall Leone Rock Metal Group and Leone Rock Premier League Board MoU Signing, is set to have a far-reaching impact on the local football scene.

The Secretary General of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Mohamed Benson Bayor, praised the collaboration, highlighting the creation of over 1,600 jobs directly linked to football activities. Leone Stars didn’t qualify for the Africa Cup Nations 2025, which we are disappointed as FA, emphasizing the focus on grassroots development and inclusivity within the sport.

Chief Technical Officer of Leone Rock Metal Group, Salim Sillah, expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming season, emphasizing that football goes beyond the game itself, impacting lives and benefiting the entire country. The passion for football and its transformative power is at the core of the sponsorship deal, reflecting a commitment to community impact and national pride.

The imminent kick-off of the Leone Rock Premier League promises an exciting season ahead, building on the momentum generated by this groundbreaking partnership.

The Sierra Leone Premier Board Chairman, Magistrate Mark Ngegba, said the Leone Rock Premier League will kick off in the coming weeks.
