In a thrilling display of skill and determination, Bo Rangers Football Club secured the Sierra Leone Super Cup trophy following a pulsating 2-2 draw with Bhantal FC. The match was decided in a nail-biting penalty shootout, with Bo Rangers emerging victorious with an 8-7 scoreline.

This latest triumph adds to the club’s ever-growing collection of silverware, cementing their status as one of the powerhouses of Sierra Leonean football. Over the past three seasons, the Bo-based giants have amassed an impressive haul of six trophies, including three Premier League titles, one Community Shield, one FA Cup, and now the coveted Super Cup.

Founded in 1954, Bo Rangers had long been a dominant force in the domestic game, but it took them 68 years to clinch their first major league title in 2022. This latest success, however, suggests that the club is firmly on an upward trajectory, determined to solidify its place as the premier football institution in the country.

The dramatic penalty shootout victory over Bhantal FC was a testament to the resilience and character of the Bo Rangers squad. After the teams played out a thrilling 2-2 draw in regulation time, the contest went down to the wire, with both sides trading successful spot-kicks. It was ultimately Bo Rangers who held their nerve, securing the win and the trophy.

With this latest triumph, Bo Rangers has further cemented its status as the dominant force in Sierra Leonean football, solidifying its position as the team to beat in the country’s top flight. Fans and supporters alike will undoubtedly be eager to see what the future holds for this storied club as it continues its quest for more silverware and glory.
