The Sierra Leone Women’s Premier League continues across the country as week two produced eleven (11) goals and mixed results.

In the Makeni Wusum Field, Mena Queens FC fought the hard way until the dying minute when Sarah Turay called the help of the Mena Hills to level the score line 1-1 after a second-half lead by the visitors as Mariam Barrie converted the spot kick.

Patricia Umu Football Club cannot change anything from the start of the whistle on their home ground as Ram K Football Club held on firm to keep at bay for a 0-0 at full time.

The laws of the land should be respected and anyone who fails to abide should be left with a stiff implementation, at the Police field in Kingtom, the Sierra Leone Police Football Club smartly execute the law to ensure the prosecution of Albitaya Queens Football Club to a 3-1 defeat, goals from Mabinty Sama, Elfrida George and Messie Swarray for the Police side and consolation from Gbassay Kamara for Albitaya Queens.

Koya Queens from Mile 38 didn’t timid by FC Kallon’s win in their opening match as they are just a few miles away from Freetown and held the Kallon Ladies to a goalless draw.

From the far end of the country, travelled to the capital city of Freetown to inspect Correctional Service to know if all the inmates are safe, but with no mercy, the Malema Queens Football Cub kept the inmate for a hearing as they defeat the Correctional Service Football Club 2-0 away from home, goals from Aminata Kamara and Sallay Turay.

Mogbwemo Queens ensure the ladies from Kenema return to tell the story, as Kadiatu M Kamara and Mabel Gbongay’s goals were enough to take home all three points against Kahunla Queens Football Club, where it ended 2-1.
