Abass Kamara who told the Police on his statement that he is a contractor, on Monday 14 November 2022, was taken to court by Kai Ellie for unlawfully evicting him. The accused, Abass Kabba, is before Magistrate Mark Ngegba of Court No 1 on two counts, ranging from unlawful eviction, contrary to law and larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act 1916. According to the charge sheet on count 1, the accused Abass Kabba on Monday 23rd May 2022, at 22 Garrison Street, Freetown, unlawfully evicted Kai Ellie without lawful authority. Count 2 stated that the accused on the same date and place stole from one assorted colour ‘Ghana- Must-Go’ Bag the sum of Le 50,000,000 property of Sahr David Ellie. The accused is however put on bail, and the matter was adjourned to the 5th December 2022.
