By Hawa Grace Koroma

As the popular saying goes “if you want something said, ask a man; if you want something done, ask a woman.”

Madam Susan Bona’s declaration for the flag bearer race of the main opposition APC party is to win the 2023 Presidential Election and put measures in place that will overhaul the perennial problems facing the economy of the country.

Susan Bona is very optimistic of clinching the APC flag bearer for the 2023 Presidential election.

Susan Bona is now on record as the first and only female candidate to declare for the highly male contested flag bearer race of the main opposition APC party along with the APC former flag bearer of the 2018 Presidential Election Dr. Samura Kamara, Dr. Richard Conteh, Dr. Kaifala Marah, Joseph Fitzgerald Kamara, Paolo Conteh, Momodu Kargbo, Momoh Vandi, Minkailu Mansaray and so on.

Susan Bona was born and raised in Kono and Kailahun in the stronghold of the ruling SLPP party, in the South- East of the republic of Sierra Leone. Though Madam Susan Bona has suffered lots of humiliations for pitching tent with the main opposition APC party, she has remained focused, determined and unwavering in promoting the ideals of the APC party in the South and Eastern Provinces. Also, through her enthusiasm in supporting the APC party, Susan Bona has been able to attract and converted many who are now play active role in the APC party.

Madam Susan Bona as one of APC stalwarts has stood with the APC party in thick and thin and through which she has contributed immensely in supporting development activities in Kono, Kailahun and other places in the country.

Madam Susan Bona has stood firmly with her people in Kailahun and Kono district respectively and she has supported in her little way the development trajectory in that part of the country. She is a mixer and a development strategist who have contributed immensely towards the development of Sierra Leone. Susan Bona who is currently based at the United States of America and she is doing well but the passion she has to fix-up the economy of the country has prompted her to contest for the highest office of the country through the APC party that she believes has the human resource to transform the country. Madam Susan Bona is expected to come to town soon.
