Abass Kamara who was dressed like a Sheikh has been sent to prison on remand for videoing and taking a snapshot in Court No.1, at Pademba Road.
Abass Kamara was taken to court by Kai Ellie, a complainant, for larceny and unlawful eviction. On the matter: when the Magistrate was trying to adjourn certain matters, the accused Abass Kabba was busy videoing and taking snapshots in Court and Magistrate Ngegba ordered his detention and he was immediately taken to the Police lockup.
Following that, he accused, Abass Kabba, was charged with two counts of unlawful eviction contrary to law and larceny contrary to Section 2 of the Larceny Act of 1916. According to the charge sheet on count 1, the accused on Monday 23rd May 2022, at No.22 Garrison Street, Freetown, unlawfully evicted Kai Ellie without authority. Count 2 states that the accused on the same date and place stole one Ghana-Must-Go bag containing fifty million Leones property of Sahr David Ellie. Inspector Kadie Taylor is prosecuting the matter. The matter was adjourned to 17th January 2022.
