Madam Augusta James-Teima, minister of sport, has been honoured with the Pan African Women Projects Organization Award during the African Youth Development Entertainment Awards in Liberia, held on Friday.
The event serves as a platform to acknowledge and commend exceptional individuals and initiatives that have made significant contributions to the advancement of Africans across various fields.

Madam James-Teima was one of the 30 Africans recognized at the Ocean Drive Beach Resort in Monrovia. Among them were Senegalese football legend Sadio Mane and Guinean Club Horoya FC President Antonio Souare.
Madam Augusta James-Teima received the award for her outstanding contributions to the sports sector as a teacher, administrator, and minister.
Expressing her pride in being internationally recognized, the minister pledged to continue serving Sierra Leone diligently.
