By Max A. Konneh.

A development-oriented and patriotic Sierra Leonean, based in Liverpool, England, Issa Joe Louise Koroma has re-echoed his unwavering commitment to complementing the government’s effort in providing the requisite resources that would enhance President Bio’s Free Education and Health Care services to underprivileged Sierra Leoneans in the country.

Presenting a consignment of medical drugs, teaching, and learning materials to a community health center (Royieben Community Center), primary and nursery schools (Fudia Islamic Primary and Nursery Schools), constructed by himself in his hometown, Royieben Village, Masemera Chiefdom, Port Loko District, Mr. Koroma Koroma said projects came into being through the inspiration of his late mother, whom he described as a benevolent woman who was always ready to help the underprivileged.

The medical practitioner underscored the importance of free health and education in national development and lauded the effort of the government in prompting development programs in the country as well as rebranding the country’s image internationally.

He used the opportunity to commission the newly built nursery school in the village and admonished the beneficiaries to make the best use of the opportunity.

He thanked staff and pupils of the primary school for an exemplary performance in their first attempt to write this year’s Basic Education Certificate Examination, BECE.

As a keen sports enthusiast, Mr. Koroma also donated a set of brass band and football gear to the school and pledged his continued support for the institutions.

The well-attended, ecstatic, and frenzy program was climaxed by a soccer match, traditional singing, drumming, and dancing.

Receiving the items on behalf of the beneficiaries, distinguished personalities, including SLPP Chairman, Northern Region, Eddie Williams, thanked the donor for the gesture and wished him well in his undertakings.
