The National Commission for Social Action (NaCSA) has come together to form a dynamic group called the NaCSA Women’s Forum, dedicated to empowering female staff within the Commission and the women of Sierra Leone. As part of their efforts to raise funds and create impact, the NaCSA Women’s Forum has planned a remarkable event in the form of a carnival.
The theme for this carnival is “Gee Uman Trenk for Fet Po” (“Give Women Strength to Fight Poverty”). Scheduled to take place on November 22, 2024, at the FSSG Hall in Brookfields, Freetown, the event promises to be a memorable occasion.
Chairperson Regina Saffa stated that this body is committed to empowering women and supporting the fight against poverty. The event will feature the presence of women of stature who have played significant roles in nation-building, as well as the full support of the Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner, and all male staff of NaCSA.
Staff member Gladys Lansana is calling on everyone to support this cause and contribute to the empowerment of women and the fight against poverty through this incredible initiative. The public is invited to join in and be a part of this remarkable event.
