Bhantal Football Club’s remarkable unbeaten streak in the league came to an end on April 11th, 2025, as they suffered a 1-0 defeat against Abacha City Football Club at the SLFA Academy. The loss ended their 14-game unbeaten run, which was the longest in the league.
Prior to the defeat, Bhantal Football Club had been the only team in the league that had not tasted defeat. They were sitting in second place in the league table with 30 points, making their unbeaten run all the more impressive.
The loss against Abacha City Football Club was a tough one to swallow for Bhantal’s fans and players, who had grown accustomed to their team’s consistent performance. However, the team remains in a strong position in the league, and they will be eager to bounce back and continue their pursuit of the title.
