President Bio Receives IFBB Mr. Universe Nigeria Gold Medal

The Sierra Leone Bodybuilding and Fitness Association has officially presented the IFBB Mr. Universe Nigeria Gold Medal to President Julius Maada Bio at the State House in Freetown.

The presentation took place during a courtesy visit on Wednesday, where members of the association expressed their appreciation for the President’s continued support towards sports and youth development.

The medal, won by Sierra Leonean bodybuilder at the IFBB Mr. Universe Nigeria competition, was presented as a symbol of national pride and recognition of the country’s growing achievements in bodybuilding and fitness.

President Bio congratulated the athletes and commended the association for promoting discipline, health, and national pride through sports. He reaffirmed his government’s commitment to supporting all sporting disciplines across the country.

The courtesy visit highlighted Sierra Leone’s increasing presence on the international sports stage, with athletes continuing to make the nation proud in various competitions.
