He wrote on his Facebook page and shared on their organization’s page that, “As a Sierra Leonean citizen who has, in the past, openly expressed critical views regarding the judiciary, particularly through written publications disseminated via various news outlets, including those that have featured my past correspondence directed towards the judicial system, I now observe and acknowledge a discernible positive trajectory under the leadership of the Honorable Chief Justice Komba Kamanda.
I express sincere appreciation and encouragement for the perceived commitment of the current Chief Justice to address the identified shortcomings of past administrations.
While this statement does not constitute a comprehensive legal evaluation, I believe that the discernible progress within the Judiciary under Chief Justice Kamanda’s leadership warrants public recognition.”
Director Ibrahim H. Kamara who has represented West African youths at several ECOWAS Parliament sessions in Abuja, had also attended meetings across 13 ECOWAS member states on advocacy.
While highlighting reasons for the change of perception, the leadership of the West Africa Youth Assembly offers gratitude, affirming that the appointment of Honorable Chief Justice Komba Kamanda reflects sound judgment.
