Star Sport Academy forward Larry Simeon ended his goal drought in style, scoring a brilliant brace to lead his team to a 2-0 victory over Mighty Blackpool. Simeon, who had failed to find the back of the net in the team’s first three games, came alive when it mattered most, delivering a match-winning performance that earned him the Man of the Match award.
The result was a blow to Mighty Blackpool, who have now suffered their fourth consecutive defeat of the season. The team’s struggles have persisted from last season, leaving them still searching for their first point in the ongoing Leone Rock Premier League.
The Tis-Tas boys, as Mighty Blackpool are affectionately known, will be looking to bounce back from this setback and find a way to turn their fortunes around.
