Hartford Athletic has signed Augustine Williams ahead of the 2026 USL Championship season. Williams, a prolific striker, is the second-highest goalscorer in USL Championship history with an impressive tally of 83 goals.
The 28-year-old forward will now be reunited with his fellow Sierra Leonean international, Emmanuel Samadia, who is already on the Hartford Athletic.
Williams, who has been a dominant force in the USL Championship for the past several years, expressed his excitement about the move. “I’m really looking forward to this new chapter with Hartford Athletic,” he said.
Joining forces with Emmanuel Samadia, a close friend and teammate from the Sierra Leonean national team, is an added bonus. Together, I believe we can create something special here in Hartford.
