Sierra Leone’s U-19 women’s national cricket team has arrived in Kampala, Uganda, to compete in the ICC U-19 T20 Africa Division 2 World Cup Qualifiers.
The junior ladies departed their home country earlier this week and are now set to battle it out against teams from Malawi, Kenya, Mozambique, and Cameroon in the 10-day tournament starting on March 6th.
Team Manager Philip Sahr Sam, Sierra Leone, will open their campaign against Malawi on March 9th. They will be hoping to secure strong results and earn a spot in the next stage of the qualifiers, which would bring them one step closer to the prestigious U-19 T20 World Cup.
