Dear ASP Moses Tiffa Baio-Ph.D.,
Please accept my belated but heartfelt congratulations on your appointment as Chief Immigration Officer of the Republic of Sierra Leone. Your recent announcement regarding the introduction of the online passport application portal for Sierra Leoneans both at home and in the diaspora is highly commendable and represents a significant milestone in the modernization of our immigration system.
This development did not come to me as a surprise, as I had the privilege of witnessing your professionalism, support, and leadership qualities during my tenure as Organizing Secretary of the Old Bo Boys Association National Union of Students(OBBA-NUS) while you were a staff at Aviation at Shakia Street Office in Freetown. As one of the founding members of OBBA-NUS, your guidance, encouragement, and willingness to support our activities were deeply appreciated and admirable. It is therefore inspiring to see you spearheading such an important innovation within the Immigration Department.
