Sierra Leone Swimming Diving and Water Polo Association president Mohamed Abdul Turay has signed the Book of condolence in memory of the late British Monarch Queen Elizabeth II, at the British High commission in Freetown.
The swimming president joined the NOC/GCA President Dr. Patrick Coker and other presidents from the Commonwealth Games Association, Sierra Leone (GCE SLE ) to pay their last respects and write their condolence at the loose of an Elite public figure HRH Queen Elizabeth II, to the British High Commission, Spur Road in Freetown.
“We, Sierra Leone Swimming, Diving and Water Polo Association we extend our deepest sympathy to the her family, United Kingdom for the loose of a Queen who taught the world the true meaning of leading with humility, grace and dignity.
May She Rest In Peace !”,president Mohamed Abdul Turay lamented his message on behalf of Sierra Leone Swimming, Diving and Water Polo Association
“She was not just a Queen; but always a caring figure-mother who always wanted the best for every nation.
The world, the Commonwealth, the United Kingdom and her dearest family will definitely miss a great sovereign and an extraordinary Personality,” the Swimming president commented that in a brief chat after the ceremony with Mr. Don Ahern, the political secretary who received the delegation on behalf of the British High Commission to Sierra Leone, Lisa J. Chesney, MBE.
Amongst the selection where the NOC/CHA SLE President Dr .Patrick Coker, Treasurer, Mr. Prince Sualley, Chef De Mission Mr. Unisa Deen Kargbo, Member Oness Abayomi Johnson-Taekwondo, Martin Bangura-Athletics, Yayah Koroma-Archery, Anna Williams-Gymnastics and other Association presidents.
