As Central One Football Association (COFA) inter-community kicks off on Sunday between Summer City & Fourah Bay Community, the team manager of Summer City community, Mr. Bah who also double as TM for F.C Kallon has told this medium that his side will be title contenders in this year’s community league.

His said they will be playing in the opening ceremony against one time champions Fourah Bay Community on Sunday.

“We are well prepared as we have signed over 30 players, mostly big names in the country, that include Alpha Kamara know as Alphajor; David Janneh known as Oday; Ibrahim Mansaray known as Smelling; Joseph Kamara known as Kaka; One Bone; Prince Barrie; Abu Dumbuya known as Diaby; Saidu Bah; Theophilus Junju Conteh; MO; Donsor; Baimba Sesay; Hassan Miller Sesay; and Musa Noah Kamara better known as Musa Tombo.

“We had an issue with the signing of Musa Tombo, as he has also signed after a lot of pressure from Fourah Bay Community, where he resides, but the rules of the competition will make him play for us since we were the first to sign him.

“We are looking forward for all of these players to go to camp ahead of the opening ceremony on Sunday. Our fans are ready to be behind the team on Sunday as preparation for the opening ceremony is in high gear, as our jerseys and flags are in high demand by our fans. Sunday will be a colourful day for us.”

The Team Manager concluded that the executive and the membership of Summer City are going all out to provide everything for the team so they are expecting the boys to win on Sunday.
