While addressing large crowd at Futa Village, Pejeh Chiefdom, Pujehun District, Chief Abdul Kadiru Kaikai, on Sunday 18th September 2022, in his continuous national voter registration mobilization campaign, and supporting President Bio’s 2023 second term agenda, told the people of Pujehun that he wants to learn from President Bio’s good leadership and patriotism.
Beginning his statement with the popular slogan ‘Maada Biooooo oh,’ which was greeted with huge applause, Chief Jabika Kadiru Kaikai stated that he was in Pujehun for three reasons, one being his love for Sierra Leone, two; his Love for the SLPP and the third being the re-election of President Bio in 2023, with no runoff.
He encouraged the people to go out and register, as that is their fundamental right that is enshrined in the country’s Constitution, so as to ensure that President Bio gets a second term in office and continue to work for the people of this nation.
Chief Kadiru furthered that President Bio inherited a nation with battered image from the former All People’s Congress (APC) government, adding that this has been the reason for his frequent travelling, to launder the country’s image in the international arena, an endeavour that has been mainly successful so far.
“Leaders and organizations all over the world are inviting President Bio, and that will not happen if you are a foolish leader, and the international community admires him so much”
Chief Kadir said that President Bio hails from a humble chieftaincy home and attended the great Bo Government Secondary School, before joining the military at the tender age of his early 20’s, and fought for this nation. As Military Leader in 1996, President Bio handed over power to a civilian government and in 2005, contested for the SLPP Leadership. In 2018, he became the President of Sierra Leone. All these stages speaks volumes of the good leadership and humble personality of President Bio. Kadiru maintained that it is these leadership qualities that he is emulating.
