Chief Executive Officer of Beckham 7/23 Academy has told this medium that his primary objective is to take Beckham 7/23 to the country`s elite league having gained promotion to the Western Area division one.
Jalloh said the journey to division one was as tough as the word itself “but thanks be to God we made it”.
He said: “It was a tough journey but the boys were mentally and physically ok and they conquered, he told the AZsports. Asked what next for the team; he replied:
“We are on course for the coming season and our eyes are not only on division one but the U-15 & U-17 and the technical team is working very hard to take these boys to another level.
He said the academy provides a centered environment for each player to maximize his potential to be best prepared for the next chapter in their life.
He said: “Beckham 7/23 academy has a great responsibility and commitment towards a holistic approach regarding the development of our players”.
“We have prioritized education for the soccer development of each one of our players as we provide a professional and high-level training environment where our players can flourish”.
The “player” is the key component of our Academy. It is very important to focus on the Integral Education of each one of our players. We cannot have good players if we do not have good people first.
“We want our young players to develop in all areas of life as they grow and become high-level soccer players”
When asked why Beckham FC; he replied: “David Beckham is a great legend and we are working assiduously to bring him to Sierra Leone,” he said.
