In an interview with the chairman for the competition, Mr Philipson Cole, said they have concluded their investigations over the incident that occurred between Moa Wharf and Hillside, where Moa Wharf behaved in an unruly manner following their elimination from this year’s inter area competition.
He said Moa Wharf have been found wanting and they should have received their letter in which they have been fined.
“We are waiting for their response now,” he said.
He added that Moa Wharf should know that in any competition there are two sides – those who win and those who lose.
In terms of punishment, he said it is left with them the organizers to either suspend or fine anyone who breached their rules.
“And we are also giving an advice to the fans that these boys are the future players of the nation. They should be well disciplined and protected.”
Furthermore, in a competition of 32 teams, only one team will emerge as a winner and all the 32 of them. Thus if you lose, the best you can do is to accept and prepare yourself for the next season, instead of misbehaving, which might lead for your community not to be chosen in future competitions.
