The newly appointed Team Manager of the East End Lions Football Club Zainu Deen Karim on Friday, October 28th visited the training ground at SS Camp to motivate the players ahead of the match against Freetonians at the Attouga Mini Stadium.
The newly Team Manager stated that the competition is for the players to demonstrate to their fans their preparedness for the 2022/2023 league season and asserted that “last season’s 2021/2022 league, we were faced lots of challenges, but we have learned a lot too and now we need to put everything at the back of our minds, forget about the past and look forward to the 2022/2023 league season with great resolved to reclaim the title”.
He added that the Executive has noted lessons learned with the SLFA and the PLB and assured the technical sides and players that the club is ready to compete in future Intercontinental competitions “I want to assure you guys that by the grace of the Almighty God, we will compete in one of the 2023/24 CAF Club Competitions” Manager Zainu concluded.
