The Executive Director of Sierra Leone Road Safety Authority [SLRSA], Rev. Smart K Senesie has commissioned an online payment platform via SmartKorpor to enable customers pay for products using the platform.
The SLRSA and SmartKorpor had signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalise their relationship, which according to the Executive Director would enable customers to do multiple payments for various products online and digitally using Orange Mobile Money, Afrimoney, SmartKorpor, Rokel Commercial Bank, Union Trust Bank and Ecobank.
Rev. Senesie stated that with the digital payment, customers would have flexibility paying for SLRSA products, thus avoiding queues at banks. “With this digital service now available, customers are presented with a wide range of payments options and can do payments with ease using SmartKorpor”, said the Executive Director .
Deputy Executive Director James Baggie Bio was the first to make payment using the SmartKorpor platform to test it’s efficacy. Mr. Bio encouraged customers to utilise the digital option provided for them by the Authority, adding that their concerns are paramount to management.
Meanwhile, Mustapha Rogers of SmartKorpor said that their platform is flexible and allows customers access their USSD code which in turn permits the Finance Department of the Authority to do payment verification prior to customers proceeding with their licences process.
