A four-man Team from the Universal Access Development Fund (UADF) in Sierra Leone has paid a courtesy visit on High Commissioner Francess Virginia Anderson at the Sierra Leone High Commission in Accra, Ghana.

Speaking during the visit, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Universal Access Development Fund, Abu Bakarr Sappay Foray-Musa informed the High Commissioner about their visit in Ghana which has do with learning more about mobile and internet connectivity which is their key area of operation from their counterpart, Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communications (GIFEC).
Visiting and informing the Sierra Leone High Commission about their mission in Ghana, is believed to be a great move which they promised to do whenever a team from their agency is in the country.
He said their office is an agency under the Ministry of Information and Communications that takes internet and mobile connectivity to areas that are yet to be connected. He said that their visit in Ghana has been a success.

Human Resource and Administrative Manager, Brima Sannoh said the work of their agency is in fulfilment of President Julius Maada Bio’s desire of ensuring everyone is served with mobile and internet connectivity in Sierra Leone. The visit, he noted has enabled them to have greater knowledge in their field of work including the challenges and successes involved.
In her statement, Head of the Sierra Leone High Commission in Accra, Her Excellency Francess Virginia Anderson welcomed the team and appreciated their visit to the High Commission. She encouraged them to work always in the interest of the country and to also promote the Agenda of the President in making Sierra Leone a better place for all.
High Commissioner Anderson admonished them to take back what they have gathered from their visit in Ghana, implement for the betterment of Sierra Leone in terms of Internet and mobile connectivity.
Other members of the team included Christiana Queen Fofanah, Research and Innovative Manager and Abu Bakarr Kallon, Project Manager.
