Bombali district’s sole representative in the Women’s Premier League Mena Queens has suffered their second defeat bowing at home to league leader Mogbwemo Queens 2-0 on Saturday, 26th of November 2022 at the Makeni Wusum field.
Midfielder Kadiatu Musa Kamara on her return to Makeni her home town was honoured by Mogbwemo Queens to captain the team and her strike a few minutes before the first recess opened the deadlock to give the visitors a 1-0 lead at the break marking her fifth goal out of seven appearances.
Winger Fatmata K. Turay scored her third goal in the league with a scintillating finish in the second half accomplishing the effort of Wuyah Mohai who provided the assist as they ease past the host with a comfortable 2-0 win.
Mogbwemo Queens continues its unbeaten run and remains top on the log with 19 points out of seven matches played, recording six wins and a draw against their Southern region counterpart Ram K FC
