According to an investigative report from the Pamlap Police station in Makeni city, on Friday 20th January 2023 at 08:30 hours, in Kamandia village, Biriwa Chiefdom, Bombali District, One 27-year-old Banday Sesay, of Kamandia village allegedly kill three (3) children among them twins (Alusine Koroma and Lansana Koroma) five months old, and one Bundu Koroma, a two (2) years old boy, all of the same parents.
The man also reportedly injured Hannah Baby Conteh, a four (4) years old girl.
Upon receipt of the said information, the Police reported that one Detective Police Constable 17369 Kargbo B. Attached to the Kamabai police station, a team of Police Personnel including CID, OSD, and General Duty headed by the Regional Scene Of Crime Officer Detective Chief Inspector (CI) Mathew Samura, boarded a Police vehicle with registration number SLP 263 visited the scene of the crime and took photographs of the corpses and the scene.
And the dead bodies of the children, the police said were conveyed to the Makeni Regional Government Hospital Mortuary for autopsy.
But the Police did not mention in their report how the alleged incident happened but promised to update the public on their findings.
The suspect is in their net.
“And the said suspect is in a Police net helping with the investigation,” the police report reads.
