Former flagbearer candidate of the main opposition APC Party, Ambassador Omrie Golley has on Saturday 1st April 2023 donated food condiments to chairladies of the various constituencies of the Western Area Urban East District.
The donation comprises bags of 50kg rice, 5gallons oil and bags of onions and was done as Ramadan iftar to the various constituencies.
Ambassador Omrie Golley said “I gave you this as my own support to implore you all to get your constituents together and cook for them during this Holy Month of Ramadan so that they can pray for the party and the country.”
He said that “things are really hard for Sierra Leoneans and at this moment, it will be nice for us as a party to come together and pray ahead of the June 2023 elections.”
Responding, Mariatu 𝐂onteh, APC Chairlady of Constituency 120 expressed thanks on behalf of the chairladies in the 11 constituencies of the Western Area Urban East District, to Ambassador Omrie Golley for his thoughtful support.
She said the condiments of rice, onions and oil will help them in long way to cook for their comrades in their various constituencies. She called on all to be United politics, spirit and prayers.
