The Hon. Member of Parliament for Kenema district, representing Tunkia and Nomo chiefdoms, Hon. Alie Bayoh, has joined the call by President Maada Bio to provide jobs for 500 000 youths across the nation.

The honorable Member of Parliament, while on recess in the district, made a quick intervention to support the President in his drive to provide jobs for the youths in his chiefdoms of Nomo and Tunkia.

He has ten sections in the two chiefdoms, and he bought eight motorbikes for eight sections as a way of providing jobs for the youths.
The Hon. explained to the media that they are foot soldiers for the president and have the mandate to ensure that the five game changers succeed at all costs.

He disclosed that a committee has been set up in the two chiefdoms to ensure the judicious use of the motor bikes in the form of a revolving fund for more youths to have access to motor bikes in a very short time for the benefit of the youth, the community, and the country as a whole.
The Hon. also provided educational support to all pupils who attained the first and second positions in the NPSE in the form of cash for the provision of uniforms and other materials.

He also provided cash to teachers as a thank-you package for their services and to the parents who accompanied their children.
The community requested that the honorable pass their message to the president for the pavement of Kenema Zimi High Way. adding that they, as farmers, need good roads to aid them in the agricultural drive.

He assured his audience that the Kenema Zimmi high way is in the book of the president’s second term.
He assured that in the president’s Big 5 Game Changer Manifesto, the president mentioned infrastructure, and his government pledged to increase roads and bridges in agricultural areas.
The MP quote and MOAWOMA, which has five chiefdoms with over 40 thousand populations, are not exceptions for agricultural produce like paper, rice, cassava, onions, etc.
Madam Baindu Lahai from Nomo thanked the Hon. for his intervention in the provision of jobs for the youths and his educational support.
She described the interventions as a move in the right direction, and she pleaded for more to continue happening in the chiefdoms.
