Sierra Leone’s Under-20 national team, the Shooting Stars, secured an impressive 3-1 victory over their Liberian counterparts in the WAFU Zone A qualifiers for the upcoming U-20 AFCON tournament.
The match saw a standout performance from Momoh I Kamara, who scored two goals for the Sierra Leonean side. Santigie Fornah also found the back of the net, sealing the win for the shooting stars.
This victory marks an important milestone for Sierra Leone, as it is their first win in the WAFU Zone A qualifiers. The team’s coach will be hoping that this positive result will provide a boost of confidence as they prepare for their final match against Guinea-Bissau.
