The Yoni Excellence Awards, an initiative spearheaded by the Yoni Excellence Awards Board, are set to take place once again in December 2024, promising an evening of recognition and celebration of exceptional contributions to the development of Yoni Chiefdoms. This year’s event, under the theme “Truly, Education Can Deliver Us,” seeks to honour those who have shown outstanding dedication to the advancement of education and community welfare within the two chiefdoms, Yoni Mamaila and Yoni Mabanta.
The awards ceremony has become a staple in the social calendar of the chiefdoms, attracting attention from across the region. Established to recognize and encourage excellence among the indigenes, the Yoni Excellence Awards shine a spotlight on individuals and organizations that have positively impacted the community.
