The G Unit Social Club Bamoi Luma-Kambia District Female Football Competition came to an exciting conclusion at the Bamoi Luma Playing Field, with a large turnout of enthusiastic fans eager to witness the beauty of women’s football.
The event was sponsored by Babadi Kamara, a true champion of the sport in Sierra Leone. As the Vice Chairman of the Kambia District Football Association, Chief Mohamed Kamara expressed his gratitude for Kamara’s support, highlighting the district’s plans to construct a mini-stadium on a designated land plot.
Babadi Kamara, the Chairman of Bo Rangers FC, praised the loyalty and obedience of Sierra Leone national team goalkeeper Mohamed N. Kamara and announced his intention to contest the upcoming Sierra Leone Football Association election. Kamara’s involvement in football has extended beyond Bo Rangers, as he has supported numerous clubs across the country.
The final match was a closely contested affair, with Kallon FC Female and Patricia Humu FC playing out a 1-1 draw in regulation. In the resulting penalty shootout, Kallon FC Female emerged victorious, winning 4-3.
Kamara’s commitment to developing football, particularly in the women’s game, has been evident through his sponsorship of the G Unit Social Club competition. The star prize of 15 million leones further demonstrates his dedication to elevating the sport in Sierra Leone.
