Monrovia, Liberia In a strategic move to bolster their defensive line, LISCR Football Club, a prominent Liberian First Division club, has announced the signing of Sierra Leonean goalkeeper Abdul Bundu on a three-year deal.
Bundu, who previously served as the second-choice keeper for Bo Rangers, a three-time champion in Sierra Leone, has now found a new home with LISCR. The young goalkeeper showcased his skills during the 2023-24 season, featuring prominently between the sticks for the Elephants.
Despite helping Bo Rangers clinch the league title, Bundu missed out on the opportunity to participate in the TotalEnergies CAF Champions League qualifiers. This setback, however, has not dampened his determination, as he now sets his sights on a new challenge with LISCR.
The acquisition of Bundu is a testament to LISCR’s commitment to strengthening their squad and preparing for the upcoming season. With his experience and talent, the Sierra Leonean goalkeeper is expected to bring a fresh dynamic to the Liberian club’s defensive line, helping them achieve their goals in the domestic league and beyond.
