Alpha Kabia, a talented midfielder hailing from Sierra Leone, has been making waves in the local football scene with his exceptional skills and unwavering passion for the game. Starting his football journey with young boys, Kabia quickly caught the attention of anti-drugs before making a remarkable move to Freetonian SLIFA.
His standout performances in the 2023-2024 Sierra Leone Premier League with Freetonian SLIFA propelled him to join East End Lions, where he represented the team in the Confederation Cup against a formidable Senegalese opponent. Despite the team’s elimination from the qualifying rounds, Kabia’s stellar performance on the field did not go unnoticed.
Having also been a pivotal player in the Sierra Leone U-20 team, Kabia played a crucial role in qualifying his country for the U-20 competition. His standout display in the qualifying matches in Liberia, particularly in the final against Senegal, showcased his immense talent and drew admiration from spectators and fans alike.
Currently, Kabia is an integral part of the Sierra Leone home-based team competing in Liberia for the African Nations Championship (CHAN) preliminary qualifiers. Regarded as one of the best midfielders in Sierra Leone, Alpha Kabia continues to prove his worth on the field, consistently leaving a lasting impact with his skills and dedication to the game.
