Abdul Koroma, a young and talented defender, has been making waves in the world of Sierra Leonean football. Hailing from a humble background, Koroma has overcome numerous challenges to become a key player for the Australasian non-division team and secure a move to the esteemed Sam Johnson FC.
Despite the setback of being knocked out in the group stage of the ongoing Central One Football Association Inter Champions League Competition, Koroma’s outstanding performance caught the eye of the scouts, and he has now been selected to join the national U-15 team, which is currently undergoing intensive training at the SLFA Academy.
Koroma’s dreams stretch far beyond his current achievements. His ultimate goal is to play for the prestigious Real Madrid in Spain, where he hopes to one day take the field alongside his idol, David Alaba. This ambitious young player is determined to use his football skills to provide a better life for his family, who currently rely on his mother’s small-scale trading business.
Koroma’s journey has been marked by success and adversity. He has represented Star Sports Academy in tournaments across Senegal, Guinea, and Turkey, where the U-17 team reached the semi-finals.
