Sierra Leone’s national team has found a rising star in Emmanuel Samadia, whose standout performances in the recent Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers have caught the attention of football fans across the country.

The Wingback earned impressive ratings of 7.7 and 7.1 in Sierra Leone’s matches against Chad and Zambia, respectively, cementing his status as one of the team’s most valuable players.

Samadia’s impressive displays have not gone unnoticed, with his ability to control the tempo of the game, distribute the ball effectively, and contribute both defensively and offensively earning him plaudits from pundits and supporters alike.

“Emmanuel Samadia has been a revelation for the national team,” said local football analyst Esther Marie Samura. His composure on the ball, vision, and work rate have been integral to Sierra Leone’s performances in these crucial AFCON qualifiers.
