In a thrilling encounter, the Benin national women’s football team emerged victorious against their Sierra Leonean counterparts in the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. The match, played at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Stadium in Liberia, ended with a score of 3-1 in favor of Benin.

The Sierra Leonean team, known as the Sierra Queens, put up a valiant effort but ultimately succumbed to the superior performance of the Benin side. The final aggregate score of the two-legged tie stood at 5-2, with Benin progressing to the next round of the qualifiers.

The victory was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the Benin team, who showcased their skill and determination throughout the match. The Sierra Leonean team, on the other hand, will have to regroup and focus on their next challenge as they are now eliminated from the competition.

This result is a significant achievement for Benin, who will be looking to build on their success as they continue their quest for a spot in the prestigious Women’s Africa Cup of Nations tournament. Fans of the game eagerly await to see how the team will fare in the upcoming rounds of the qualifiers.
