Sierra Leone was among those three African countries chosen through balloting as part of this year’s donations. Princess Caulker, a Sierra Leonean who represented Sierra Leone, lauded her organization when things were currently difficult in the country.

The donation, which included some food items, drinks, and cash presented by Adama Whyte Conteh connected through Princess Caulker, was well received and distributed to Masjid Jalal and Masjid Ul Haaram mosques.

Chief Imam Sinneh Sesay of Masjid Ul Haaram of Lower Sumaila Town, upon receiving the donations, expressed thanks and appreciation to the organization for their kind gestures. He said it was indeed a great joy that Sierra Leone benefitted from this charity at this time.

He pointed out that any charity in the month of Ramadan brings a thousand blessings. He said they hailed the organization for such huge donations, adding that the organization is the first to reach out to them since Ramadan started. The two mosques thanked Les Femmes Solidere, and a Quranic reading and prayers were done to all the members of the organization
