APC party strongman Ambassador Omrie Golley has, on Wednesday, 19th March 2025, donated food and condiments to youths of the Big Wharf Community, East District of the Western Region of Sierra Leone.
The donation comes as Muslims and Christians across Sierra Leone are performing their religious supplications of fasting during the current holy months of Lent and Ramadan.
Presenting the items on behalf of Ambassador Omrie Golley, Hon. Lihadi Alhadi, former MP of Constituency 123, said the kind gesture is to soften the impact of the daunting economic effect of the country on the lives of the youths in the community as they continue to observe their sacred religious fasting. He said the Ambassador Omrie Golley movement is an all-inclusive body whose major ideal is to bring together Sierra Leoneans irrespective of region, tribe, or religion.
Responding, Madam Mabinty thanked the movement and assured that youths will consciously consider leaders who penetrate the grassroots at all levels. She thanked Ambassador Golley for the timely response.
