Crowds of APC supporters on Friday, 14th March, 2025 stormed the streets of Magburaka to give a rousing welcome to the APC party’s ace flagbearer aspirant, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, who has continued his Ramadan Iftar tour in Tonkolili District.
In his welcome address, the APC Tonkolili District Chairman, Dr. Samuel Bangura, pointed out that the APC party was at a crossroads, one that would make or break the party’s chances in the next elections. He said that while power comes from God, party members already have their senses intact to determine who the next flag bearer of the party should be. He rounded up his remarks with an assurance that Tonkolili will speak with one voice this time around.
In his statement, the APC ‘Wonder Boy,’ Dr. Ibrahim Bangura, acknowledged the tremendous sacrifices of party members of Tonkolili under the astute leadership of Dr. Samuel Bangura.
He noted that the thrust of his visit to Tonkolili was to share with them his Ramadan sunakati, which he said was part of his nationwide Ramadan Iftar.
Dr. Bangura pledged his unflinching support to the APC party in Tonkolili and to work with them closely in the realisation of their collective objectives.
He promised to return to the district through the district executive for the purpose of discussing party politics.
Dr. Ibrahim Bangura and his team are heading to Karene in continuation of his nationwide iftar.
