Mr. President, scandal! Scandal!! Scandal!!! Mr. President, didn’t I tell you that I know what is happening in your household? What have you brought upon yourself? What do you want again, sir? You have had it all: power, wealth (even though questionable), and fame (even that depends on who you are popular with). You have travelled the world extensively, using our nation’s money, yet there is little to no tangible benefit to us, the people. But since this is the path you have chosen, now you must see the disgrace you have brought to us as a nation.
Mr. President, do you mean to tell us that Jos Leijdekkers, aka Umar Sheriff, actually impregnated your daughter?
Do you see what happens when you allow unchecked individuals to roam freely in your inner circle? Mr. President, I can tell you and the world that we are aware of the threats “Jos Bolle” has been making against those around him after he successfully bought you and your men. You may think that keeping your silence and acting like nothing is happening will shield you from the inevitable, but rest assured, Sierra Leoneans are watching, and history is recording every single action you take or fail to take.
Today, Mr. President, I am dedicating our discussion specifically to your household.
You have built an empire on secrecy and deception, but the truth always finds its way to the surface. The scandals that have erupted from within your own family and close associates have exposed the weaknesses in your leadership. You are a man who has everything yet controls nothing, and your downfall is being orchestrated not by your political opponents but by the very people you have trusted and empowered.
Mr. President, watch your wife. She has been a menace to you!She has been sharing crucial information through her minions, and you, believing she is loyal to you, have let your guard down. She will not rest until she completely destroys you, and yet you continue to ignore the signs. Do you think your silence will protect you? Do you believe that if you pretend not to see, the storm will pass? Mr. President, I strongly advise you to sit her down and take control of this situation before it is too late.
If you do not trust me, you are doomed. Mr. President, everyone knows that your wife has so much on you that you don’t have the courage to confront her. Thus, you let her do whatever she deems fit. You have surrendered your authority, not just over the country but also over your own household. Your silence in the face of these crises is a reflection of the deep dysfunction that has plagued your leadership.
Your government is falling apart from within. Scandals, betrayals, and corruption are eating away at the fabric of your administration, and rather than taking decisive action, you have chosen to shield yourself in ignorance. But, Mr. President, there is no refuge in ignorance. The people of Sierra Leone are not blind. They see everything, and they are beginning to understand just how deep the rot runs.
Where Is Former Ambassador Alimamy Bangura? Mr. President, we demand answers. What is the status of former Ambassador Alimamy Bangura? Where is he? Is he alive or dead? His sudden disappearance has left many unanswered questions, and the people of Sierra Leone deserve the truth.
We also demand to know the whereabouts of Jos Bolle Sheriff. Who is protecting him? What deals have been made behind closed doors to ensure his safety while others suffer? How much has been exchanged to keep the truth hidden? These are questions that will not disappear, no matter how much you try to suppress them.
Mr. President, your time is running out. You are facing not just political enemies but enemies from within your own ranks. The people you have surrounded yourself with do not serve you; they are only looking out for their own interests, and the moment you become a liability, they will abandon you without hesitation. What happens then?
We have seen this story play out before. History has no shortage of leaders who have fallen from grace, brought down not by their opponents but by their own inner circle. You, Mr. President, are walking down that same road. The scandals within your household, your administration, and your close associates are too many to ignore. Every time you choose silence over action, you inch closer to your own downfall.
Sierra Leone is watching. The world is watching. Your choice is simple: confront these issues now and try to salvage what little credibility you have left or continue down this path of denial and let history record your presidency as one defined by scandal, corruption, and disgrace. The choice is yours.
