The donation targeted one thousand people, each of whom received rice. Aminata Conteh, a mother of two with a physical disability, the rice means her family can share nutritious meals without sacrificing other essentials. “This support lets us feel the joy of Ramadan,” she shared. Similarly, elderly beneficiaries and caregivers expressed gratitude, highlighting how the gesture alleviates stress and fosters a sense of belonging.
“Charity during Ramadan isn’t just about giving; it’s about uplifting every member of our community,” noted Imam Hassan Bangura, a local cleric.
