The Lunsar Cycling Club has named its six-man team that will represent Sierra Leone at the 2025 Ride Afrique cycling competition in Accra, Ghana.
This marks a historic moment for the country’s cycling scene, as it is the first time a local club is sending a team of six riders to an international competition.
The team will compete against six international teams, including Team Pitstop and Team I’llubrine from Nigeria, as well as ten top cycling clubs from across Ghana. This is a significant achievement for the Lunsar Cycling Club and the athletes involved.
The team roster includes Ibrahim S. Jalloh, Abu Sheik Sesay, Moses L. Kamara, Minkailu Manlam Conteh, Sorie Koroma, and David Sesay. The team will be managed by Mohamed Ben Conteh.
Abdul Karim Kamara, popularly known as Stylish, has been instrumental in supporting the athletes and paving the way for them to showcase their talents on the international Competition.
