Mohamed Sesay is still at large, heading to an unknown destination since he escaped from youth brutality and mob justice as a result of being found in a romantic and sexual relationship with his partner of the same sex named Foday Kallon.
This incident occurred on the 17th of October 2024 at Foday Kallon’s residence at Goderich, in the western urban district of the capital, Freetown. This area is dominated by a Muslim and die-hard Muslim scholars.
Based on the information gathered from this press, we were told that Mohamed Sesay and his partner have been observed for the past years in the community.
An eyewitness told this press that some of the youths rushed at Foday kallon’s residence to search for both of them, but the door was closed, so they broke the door and entered, but Mohamed Sesay was not found; only his partner was found lying on the bed half naked.
His partner, Foday Kallon, was manhandled and almost killed, but his life was saved due to the intervention of the police.
Based on the information received, Investigation is ongoing while his partner was under medical treatment in a hospital in Freetown.
The authorities are still looking for Mohamed Sesay, but he cannot be found.
We also gathered that the Muslim Jamat has put aside some amount of money for anybody who will provide information for his arrest.
The warrant of arrest still remains in force, while they are still looking for his whereabouts
