The Leone Rock Premier League is heating up as East End Lions FC continue to dominate the table. In a crucial match this weekend, the Lions secured a 2-1 victory over Port Authority, extending their lead at the top of the league.
The win has pushed East End Lions to 41 points after 19 games, solidifying their position as the league leaders. Their closest rivals, Bhantal, sit in second place with 34 points after the same number of matches.
The race for the title is intensifying, with the bottom half of the table also seeing some tight competition. Luawa FC currently occupies the 15th position with 20 points, while Kamboi Eagles FC and Port Authority FC are in 16th and 17th positions with 19 and 18 points, respectively. Freetown City FC remains at the bottom of the table with 12 points.
