In a moment of sheer brilliance, Mustapha Bundu has been awarded the 2024/25 Argyle Goal of the Season for his stunning free kick against Derby County at Home Park. The Sierra Leonean forward left the crowd and opposition players in awe as he curled the ball into the top corner from an improbable angle, securing a crucial victory for Plymouth Argyle.
Bundu’s moment of magic came in the 87th minute, with the scores level at 1-1. As Argyle won a free kick just outside the box, all eyes turned to the 28-year-old. With unwavering confidence, Bundu stepped up and unleashed a perfectly executed shot that dipped and swerved, leaving the Derby goalkeeper with no chance.
The goal sparked wild celebrations among the Argyle faithful, who have grown to love Bundu’s creative flair and match-winning contributions.
