The former Sierra Leone national team player Rodney Strasser recently paid a visit to the football home base players at SLFA academy, where he shared his experiences and offered encouragement to the up-and-coming players.
Strasser, who once donned the jersey with pride, expressed his delight at witnessing the team’s spirit and determination. “It’s truly inspiring to see the passion and commitment of these young players,” he said. “The new coach, Mohamed Kallon, has brought a fresh perspective and energy to the squad, and I’m excited to see the team’s growth.”
Though Strasser has retired from playing, his love for the sport remains strong, and he is proud to support Sierra Leonean football. “As a former player, it’s heartwarming to see the team’s progress, and I wish the Leone Stars all the best in their future endeavors,” he added.
The players and coaches were thrilled to have Strasser’s presence and guidance. “Having a legend like Rodney Strasser come and share his insights is invaluable for our young players,” said Coach Kallon. His words of wisdom and encouragement will undoubtedly inspire them to reach new heights.
