We are compelled to clarify a recent publication by News Journal Media that falsely claimed journalist Richmond B. Tholley was declared wanted by the Mile 91 Police Station. This misinformation was only discovered by Tholley after the publication gained traction.

Commenting on the development, Tholley said, “Over the years, I have worked for credible media institutions, and I have maintained credibility. I see malice by certain individuals to tarnish my hard-earned reputation, and I want to clarify it. I’m never declared wanted.”
The Mile 91 Police Station has since clarified that they did not declare Tholley wanted but rather wished to invite him for questioning in connection with an ongoing investigation. We trust that this clarification will put an end to any unnecessary speculation and misinformation.
Tholley remains committed to cooperating with the authorities and looks forward to clearing up any matters related to the investigation. We urge the public to disregard the false publication and to respect the investigative process.
