QCell Sierra Leone has launched a new weekly internet plan that offers unlimited access at a steady speed of 2Mbps for just Le60.
The plan, which the company describes as a “game changer,” aims to make internet access more affordable and reliable for Sierra Leoneans. It allows users to browse, stream, chat, and work online for a full week without worrying about data caps or extra charges.
According to QCell, the 2Mbps Weekly Unlimited Plan offers up to 40 percent savings compared to similar packages on the market. The company says it is part of its broader commitment to ensure that everyone — from students and small business owners to families — can stay connected in today’s digital world.
“Our goal is to make sure that internet access is not a privilege but a basic tool for education, communication, and business,” a QCell spokesperson said.
The plan is also seen as a step toward bridging the digital divide in Sierra Leone, where high data costs and unstable connectivity have long limited access to online opportunities.
With the introduction of the new plan, QCell says it hopes to help more people participate in online education, digital trade, and remote work — promoting greater digital inclusion across the country.
