Mighty Blackpool FC in the Leone Rock Premier League, have found the step up to the top flight a challenging one so far this season. After finishing bottom of the league in the 2024/2025 league season, their return to the Premier League has started in disastrous.
The Tis-Tas Boys has lost all three of their opening matches, leaving them second from bottom on the league table with no points. As they continue to search for their first points of the new season.
In an interview with Mohamed Sesay who is a fan expressed disappointment with the team’s performances so far, acknowledging the need for significant improvement if Blackpool are to avoid being in another relegation battle.
“It’s been a difficult start, no doubt about it,” Sesay said. “We knew it was going to be tough coming up against the best teams in the league, but the manner of our defeats is really concerning. The team need to work hard on the training ground, and find a way to start picking up points as soon as possible.”
With 29 games still to play, Blackpool FC have plenty of time to turn their fortunes around. However, the pressure will be on the Technical Team and his Players to quickly find a way to start collecting vital points if they are to avoid an immediate return to the lower divisions.
